Work Ethic

Read the case study below.

Bethany is a new employee at an office supply store. Her supervisor, Mr. Evans, has been unhappy with Bethany’s job performance. On several occasions, Bethany has been late for work, resulting in long check-out lines and unhappy customers. When customer traffic is slow, Bethany is expected to stock shelves. Instead, she engages in personal conversations with coworkers or chats with friends on the phone. Mr. Evans has scheduled a meeting with Bethany to discuss her performance.
