The following information will assist in the usage of G-W Learning companion websites. Activities and file types may vary by site. If the support you are looking for is not provided below, please submit a question via our online support forum.

Vocabulary and Assessment Activities
  Assessment Forms

The Assessment Forms are extensions of the textbook's content. Fill in the form fields and select the desired e-mail options at the bottom of the form prior to sending.


– Select the Save button to save all of your responses. Please note that they will only be saved on the web browser and computer that you use when filling in the form fields.


– Select the Clear button to clear all of your responses from the form fields and delete all saved answers for the activity you are currently viewing.

  Label Art Activities
Label Art activities can be in the form of identification, matching, or ordering activities. For more information on individual exercises, use the Instructions dropdown menu in the upper left corner of the activity.
  Matching
The matching activity offers a selection of chapter vocabulary terms in an interactive format, which is designed to help in term-to-definition association.

Functionality
Drag a term from the left column to the corresponding gray definition field in the right column. If an incorrect definition is selected, the term will reset back to its original position.
  Self-Assessment Quiz
Test activities offer a selection of assessment questions in an interactive format. The tests are based on key concepts from the chapter and provide an opportunity for self-assessment.

Functionality
Select the answer that best reflects the current question.

arrow —Select the Next arrow to advance to the next question.

retry —Upon completion of the test, select the Retry icon to try the test again.

  Vocabulary Game
The Vocabulary Game activity offers a selection of chapter terms designed to assist in definition to term association.

Functionality
Select an available point value box from the game grid. After reading the hint, select an appropriate answer from the list below the hint. Feedback will be provided depending on your selection.

File Types
  Adobe Acrobat PDF
To download the free Adobe Reader, visit https://get.adobe.com/reader/.

Usage
By selecting a PDF hyperlink, the PDF will open in a new window. From the toolbar at the top of the PDF window, select the desired icon in order to save and/or print the file.
  Individual Exercise/Data Files
Individual Exercise/Data files can be provided in various formats (DOCX, PPSX, PPTX, and XLSX).

Usage
These types of files will require compatible programs. By selecting a individual exercise hyperlink, the browser will open a Save dialog box allowing for the file to be saved to your computer. Upon saving the file, open the downloaded file to review the contents.
  Video/Animated Video File
G-W Companion Websites may include video files to supplement their educational content.

Usage
The video player has been designed to work with Internet Explorer®, Firefox®, Safari®, Chrome®. It is recommended to use the most current browser version. If you are using an old version of any of the recommended browsers and are experiencing an issue with video playback, make sure the most current version of flash player has been installed.
