Pool balls are displayed, lined up so that they touch side to side within the bounds of a black rectangle. One more pool ball rolls in from the left. It hits the farthest left ball in the box. The energy transfers from this ball through the others, causing the balls to move one position to the right. The new ball has taken the place of the farthest left ball in the box, and the ball farthest to the right continues to roll off-screen just as the new ball had rolled in. This process repeats several more times, each ball rolling in from the left causing the others to shift one position to the right and sending the farthest right ball rolling off-screen to the right.
